A new study shows that 94% of the US population were estimated to have been infected by SARS-CoV-2 at least once.
Now, as the new variants of Omicron are even less pathogenic than the last, the risk/benefit ratio of a booster every two months is beyond upside down. But let’s look at some of the more recent studies to back up this “claim.”…
“New South Wales, Australia COVID update proves the pandemic of the vaccinated” (Joel Smalley, 2022.07.19):
“Long-term Immune Response to SARS-CoV-2 Infection Among Children and Adults After Mild Infection” (JAMA, July 2022): “CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE In this cohort study of Italian children and adults following SARS-CoV-2 infection different kinetics of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies were found across several age classes of individuals with asymptomatic or mild COVID-19, which could help in optimizing COVID-19 vaccination strategies and prevention policies. This work provides further evidence of sustained immune response in children up to 1 year after primary SARS-CoV-2 infection.”
Two doses of Covid vaccines offer no protection against Omicron infection and may even increase the risk of infection within months, according to a new paper in the New England Journal of Medicine. In contrast, people previously infected with earlier coronavirus variants had a 50 percent lower risk of Omicron infection. That protection remained steady even more than a year after the initial infection. Further, giving people who had natural immunity two shots of mRNA did nothing to increase that 50 percent protection. In other words, the public health argument that vaccination helps people even if they were already infected has proven wrong.

“…the researchers were able to compare vaccinated and unvaccinated people who had the same amounts of virus in their blood. …they found that unvaccinated people were far more likely to develop anti-nucleocapsid antibodies than the jabbed. An unvaccinated person with a mild infection had a71 percent chance of mounting an immune response that included those antibodies. A vaccinated person had about a15 percent chance. The study all-but-proves the mRNA shots themselves — and not whatever reduction in viral loads they may cause — are impeding the development of the anti-nucleocapsid antibodies.”
…a neat study appeared recently in the NEJM which compared vaccine immunity to natural immunity in Israel (so the vaccine in question is Pfizer’s). The difference is stark, with natural immunity being far stronger and lasting far longer (note this is based on Delta infections, not Omicron). The chart below illustrates the massive difference between the double-dosed (and not previously infected) in orange and the previously infected (and not vaccinated) in blue.
The bars show the infection rate by time since last dose or infection. Notice how the orange bars increase in height quickly, reflecting fast-waning vaccine immunity. By contrast, at 4-6 months and 6-8 months the blue previously-infected bars are much lower, and even at 12 months-plus the bar is below even where the vaccinated were at 2-4 months, and the decline appears to have plateaued. Our immune systems still seem to be working.
“The Incidence of Myocarditis and Pericarditis in Post COVID-19 Unvaccinated Patients—A Large Population-Based Study” (JMC, 2022.04.11): “ We did not observe an increased incidence of neither pericarditis nor myocarditis in adult patients recovering from COVID-19 infection.“ The study specifically removed vaccinated form the study subjects:
According to the results of the study published in the European Journal of Immunology, a third of the care workers developed antibodies to COVID-19, and they fell into two distinct groups based on antibody patterns and COVID-19 incidence.
One group that exclusively possessed IgA antibodies never succumbed to COVID-19. Participants in the other group had IgG antibodies as well as T cells and got the sickness.
The participants who did not test positive or were unwell all had IgA antibodies. Other characteristics that seemed to provide protection against infection were being female and having a respiratory allergy.

“Pandemic of the Vaccinated in Germany Part I“ (Joel Smalley, 2022.02.03): “Excess deaths in the over 65s in Germany between March and December in 2021 are 40% higher than the same period in 2020 “despite” 87% of the population being vaccinated and 59% having had their boosters. Excess deaths in the under 65s in Germany between March and December in 2021 are 140% higher than the same period in 2020 “despite” 57% of the population being vaccinated and 27% having had their boosters”
“Those who recovered from Covid-19 (had COVID and cleared it) were less likely than vaccinated to get infected during Delta wave“ (Dr. Paul Alexander, 2022.01.19): “In early October, after Delta became dominant, infection rates among vaccinated people who hadn’t had Covid were 6.2-fold lower than among unvaccinated people who hadn’t had Covid-19 in California, and 4.5-fold lower in New York. People who previously had Covid-19 but had not been vaccinated had 29-fold (California) and 14.7-fold (New York) lower case rates.“
“Long-Term Persistence of IgG Antibodies in recovered COVID-19 individuals at 18 months and the impact of two-dose BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech) mRNA vaccination on the antibody response“ (BMJ, 2022.01.18): “In this study, we aimed to assess the dynamics of IgG titers over 18 months in n=36 patients from the Umbria region in Italy, who had a documented history of COVID-19 infection in March 2020, and then compared the impact of two-dose BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech) vaccination on the antibody titers of these patients with the ones who did not receive any dose of vaccine.Our study findings demonstrate that while double dose vaccination boosted the IgG titers in recovered individuals 161 times, this “boost” was relatively short-lived. The unvaccinated recovered individuals, in contrast, continued to show a steady decline but detectable antibody levels.“
“Canadian colleges force out unvaccinated students despite their low Covid risk” (2021.11.26): “Universities ignore the critical medical fact of natural immunity, possessed by those who have recovered from a Covid infection. Research shows that natural immunity to Covid is robust and likely lifelong, referenced here, here, and here. Natural immunity offers considerably more of a shield against the Delta variant of the pandemic coronavirus than two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, according to a large Israeli study.“
“Vaccine destroying AND preventing natural COVID immunity” (Igor Chudov, 2021.11.25) :”But could it be that “Covid vax” unsets natural immunity and actively prevents proper multi-factor natural immunity from forming? The possibility discussed here is that the vaccinated will endlessly catch Covid, needing endless vaccine shots and having endless exposure to repeated bouts of Covid.”
“NATURAL IMMUNITY TRIUMPHS AGAIN“ (VIDEO, The HighWire, 2021.11.19): “A new study out of India shows those who recovered from COVID-19 may have superior immunity to the virus and its variants than those vaccinated. CDC falsely claims and refuses to correct that Pfizer vaccine is efficacious in previously Covid-19 recovered.“
“The Federally Funded Takedown of Natural Immunity“ (The American Spectator, 2021.11.11): Alex Berenson stated: “The CDC used some magic statistical analysis to turn inside raw data that actually showed almost four times as many fully vaccinated people being hospitalized with Covid as those with natural immunity — and FIFTEEN TIMES as many over the summer. I kid you not.”
“Mass vaccination may permanently attenuate population-wide immunity to SARS-2“ (eugyppius, 2021.10.22) : According to “recent observations from UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) surveillance data, … N antibody levels appear to be lower in individuals who acquire infection following 2 doses of vaccination.” This is evidence that our vaccines may permanently compromise immunity to SARS-2, via Original Antigenic Sin. The vaccinators have always insisted that there’s nothing to see here. You can get the spike-specific protection of vaccination, they say, and pick up broader-based protection from low-risk natural infection later on. The problem, though, is that the vaccines appear to influence subsequent immune response, focusing antibodies on legacy spike and making it much easier for SARS-2 to escape immune resistance. Potentially for good, and in billions of people. We have very little data on the specifics of post-vaccination immune response, but a Twitter informant points me toto this piece in the Journal of Infection. It’s a brief letter to the editor confirming the findings of the UK Health Security Agency that breakthrough infections in the vaccinated seem to elicit a vastly attenuated antibody response to the N protein, compared to infections in unvaccinated people.
“Having SARS-CoV-2 once confers much greater immunity than a vaccine” (science.org, 2021.08.26): “The natural immune protection that develops after a SARS-CoV-2 infection offers considerably more of a shield against the Delta variant of the pandemic coronavirus than two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, according to a large Israeli study. The study, led by Tal Patalon and Sivan Gazit at KSM, the system’s research and innovation arm, found in two analyses that never-infected people who were vaccinated in January and February were, in June, July, and the first half of August, six to 13 times more likely to get infected than unvaccinated people who were previously infected with the coronavirus. In one analysis, comparing more than 32,000 people in the health system, the risk of developing symptomatic COVID-19 was 27 times higher among the vaccinated, and the risk of hospitalization eight times higher.“
“Necessity of COVID-19 vaccination in previously infected individuals“ (BMJ, 2021.06.21): “A study that tracked 52,238 Cleveland Clinic employees found that within 1,359 previously infected and unvaccinated people, none contracted a subsequent COVID-19 infection over the five-month study. The findings led authors to conclude that prior infection makes a person “unlikely to benefit from COVID-19 vaccination.” Nevertheless, Cleveland Clinic stated afterwards that it continued to recommend vaccination for people previously infected, stressing that the research was conducted in late 2020 and early 2021 before the emergence of the Delta variant.“
“A majority of uninfected adults show preexisting antibody reactivity against SARS-CoV-2“ (STUDY, JCI Insight, 2021.03.15):”Using a highly sensitive multiplex assay and positive/negative thresholds established in infants in whom maternal antibodies have waned, we determined that more than 90% of uninfected adults showed antibody reactivity against the spike protein, receptor-binding domain (RBD), N-terminal domain (NTD), or the nucleocapsid (N) protein from SARS-CoV-2. This seroreactivity was evenly distributed across age and sex, correlated with circulating coronaviruses’ reactivity, and was partially outcompeted by soluble circulating coronaviruses’ spike. Using a custom SARS-CoV-2 peptide mapping array, we found that this antibody reactivity broadly mapped to spike and to conserved nonstructural viral proteins. We conclude that most adults display preexisting antibody cross-reactivity against SARS-CoV-2”
“Viral nucleoprotein antibodies activate TRIM21 and induce T cell immunity“ (EMBO Journal, 2021.03.01): “Nucleoprotein (N) is an immunodominant antigen in many enveloped virus infections. While the diagnostic value of anti-N antibodies is clear, their role in immunity is not. This is because while they are non-neutralising, they somehow clear infection by coronavirus, influenza and LCMV in vivo. Here, we show that anti-N immune protection is mediated by the cytosolic Fc receptor and E3 ubiquitin ligase TRIM21. Exploiting LCMV as a model system, we demonstrate that TRIM21 uses anti-N antibodies to target N for cytosolic degradation and generate cytotoxic T cells (CTLs) against N peptide. These CTLs rapidly eliminate N-peptide-displaying cells and drive efficient viral clearance. These results reveal a new mechanism of immune synergy between antibodies and T cells and highlights N as an important vaccine target.“
“Lasting immunity found after recovery from COVID-19” (NIH, 2021.01.26): “The researchers found durable immune responses in the majority of people studied. Antibodies against the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2, which the virus uses to get inside cells, were found in 98% of participants one month after symptom onset. As seen in previous studies, the number of antibodies ranged widely between individuals. But, promisingly, their levels remained fairly stable over time, declining only modestly at 6 to 8 months after infection.“
