Wonders of 4th Jab in Denmark and Sweden
Denmark and Sweden offering 4th jab to the most vulnerable, with the anticipated success immediately in the offing.
Following my post about the 4th jab results in Israel, I have been watching the same countries I compared there and, to my surprise, Denmark started catching up with Israel in terms of Covid-19 attributed mortality. Why would that be? I have also thrown the neighbouring contries into the mix, and Sweden is also picking up the pace of deaths, unlike the neighbouring Finland, Norway, Netherlands, or the UK:
The explanation to these phenomena were not diffucult to fish out in the information soup we call Internet:
“Denmark to offer 4th COVID vaccine shots to the highly vulnerable (Jan. 12, 2022): “The Danish government on Wednesday proposed a fourth COVID vaccine dose for highly vulnerable people, amid a spike in cases of the Omicron variant. Health Minister Magnus Heunicke said the move marked a “new chapter” in the fight against the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Denmark will offer the fourth dose to “the most vulnerable citizens” — notably those diagnosed with serious ailments who received an initial booster during the autumn, Heunicke told a news conference.“
“Sweden recommends fourth vaccine shots for people 80 and older” (Feb. 14, 2022): “Sweden’s public health agency recommended on Monday that people 80 and over receive a second booster dose of coronavirus vaccine, which would be a fourth overall shot. It also warned, as the country removes its pandemic restrictions, that the virus is spreading increasingly among people who are at elevated risk of severe illness.“
No mercy for the old or vulnerable folks…
