I am of the opinion that the US obese are such due to something in their food supply for a few generations. Like growth hormones they get from the meat. Do you have such ppl in NZ? Or AUS?
Plenty of Big Hogs here in NZ... My theory is that they stuff way to much garbage into their maws... if you watch them at the check out at the super market they are loaded up on crisps, soda and heaps of processed high carb garbage. Then on the way home they make a pit stop at KFC or Domino's ... super sized cola of course ... more garbage in... then they drink a lot of booze.
And they compound this by lying on the sofa watching reality Tee Vee...
My wife works with some Big Hogs... at the end of a shift she'll go to the gym and hit it hard for 90 minutes... her colleagues marvel at her tenacity -- they head home to shove garbage down the maw and watch Tee Vee (we don't have Tee Vee so....)
From my observations - obese people make all sorts of excuses... but the reality is --- they are big hogs cuz of very bad life style choices. I eat meat - I weigh the same as when I was in high school.
Carbs are the enemy. Processed and junk food ... are the enemy.
Seeing an octogenarian harassed by some fat ass in a red vest on Twitter because he didn't have a smart phone for that idiotic app made me sick. They pledged to keep him for hours while they wrote their illeg tickets. Disgusting scum bags. These tyrants need to go down.
I wonder why the protestors - instead of marching around the block - don't instead camp out at Pfizer... maybe follow the employees when they go for lunch etc.. find out where they live and go there... harass their families...

It stipulates the amount of fines for specific alleged "offences". Also, PHOs are not authorized to issue fines, peace offices are. So, if the tickets are written by a PHO (they are?), contest them in court, and the court will drop the charges. Also, you MUST request "evidence" from the court before you go there. Do it now.
How exactly did it add up to $7,000? Just curious.
Failure to answer a relevant question asked by a screening officer or quarantine officer or to provide the officer with any required information or record: $275
Failure to comply with an order prohibiting or subjecting to any condition the entry into Canada: $1,000.
Totally illegal ticket. Fantasy land illegal! Will be zapped before the court meeting. Press your case. Who wrote it?

Just found out that the courts do not announce the reasons why they drop all tickets, but they do. So, they know all of this is illegal, but don't tell us.
One reason why all the measures under the Quarantine Act are null and void is this: there is nothing these measures can or will do. The Quarantine Act is there to prevent the importation of an infectious disease into Canada - at the border! And almost 3 years in, Covid-19 is firmly on Canadian soil, spread far and wide, more than 50% of population have been infected already after Omicron, the rest jabbed. There is nothing the measures could do at the border to change that AT ALL. Zero. So, the enforcement of them is senseless. It's just abuse of Canadians.
Second, the astronomical tickets are the clear violation of the regulation I've indicated to you.
Third, PHOs have no authority to write those tickets, police or bylaw enforcement officers should be the ones doing that.
Fourth, the measures contravene the Canadian Bill of Rights (never mention the Charter because anything is legal under the Charter until found illegal by the courts, which will never happen!).
So, on these four grounds any and all tickets should be appealed and will be dropped.
