“Mysterious spike in N.B. deaths in 2021 not due to COVID, health minister says” (CBC, 2022.05.13) and “Unexplained high death counts in N.B. concerning, health minister acknowledges” (CBC, 2022.06.10):
An updated Statistics Canada report Thursday showing an estimated 4,599 people died in the province during the final 25 weeks of 2021, 886 more than long-term averages for that time of year after adjusting for population growth and aging. New Brunswick officially recorded just 114 deaths from COVID during the 25 week period under scrutiny. It is a death rate 23.9 per cent above normal, the highest rate of "excess mortality" among provinces over that period.
How big is the 23.9% excess mortality? Davison of OneAmerica’s group life policy holders said “a 1 in 200-year catastrophe would likely only cause a 10 percent increase [in all-cause mortality]”. So is it one in 10,000 years event? Try to explain this away, CBC!
No problem, it’s still Covid:
Academics like the University of British Columbia's Kimberlyn McGrail and the University of Toronto's Tara Moriarty have raised the possibility that unusually high death counts in provinces that do not closely match their COVID death counts could mean fatalities caused by the virus were missed by health authorities. On Thursday, Moriarty said a distinct spike in deaths in New Brunswick that occurred in the middle of a large COVID outbreak during the last five weeks of 2021 almost certainly suggests COVID deaths were occurring, but not being recorded. "The overlap is almost perfect in time. So that's a really important clue that a lot of it is likely COVID related," said Moriarty. "The level of excess mortality in New Brunswick during that period is enormous. And if it's not COVID killing people, what the hell is it?"
Notice the scientific precision of the statements above (“could mean …missed”, “almost certainly suggests”, “almost perfect”, “really important clue”, “a lot of it is likely”), ending with a resounding “what the hell is it”.
If not Covid, then the NB health authorities sabotaged the government of Canada vaccination push by conspiring to undercount the Covid deaths. Why? Somehow, this scientific hypothesis does not impress me. Nice try though, academics!
Looking straight at the elephant in the room (Covid-19 jabs anyone?):
we see that June-December 2021 accounted for almost 1 million Covid-19 jabs administered into the arms of thankful New Brunswickers. Would it be too far-fetched to suggest the excess 772 deaths might have been the result of adverse “vaccine” events? That’s only less than 0.08% mortality rate, per shot. OK, if they got two shots, then 0.15% mortality rate per double-jabbed.
In the US, the CDC reports that deaths from influenza and pneumonia is 16.3 per 100,000
So, about 4.7 times the mortality rate of a flu per shot, or 9.4 times the mortality rate of a flu per 2-jabs recipient. Totally worth it, eh?
But as we all know that “vaccines” are “safe” (like “safe-safe-safe”, cross our Pfizer/Moderna hearts), one cannot even begin to entertain such outrageous possibility, can one? No, one in NB can’t even ask for a closer look into the issue, as it turns out:
…Interim Liberal Leader Roger Melanson… was asking about an updated Statistics Canada. "We all want to know what happened last fall," said Melanson. …Melanson asked about the same issue in the legislature in May and then again last week. At the time he was accused by [the Health Minister] Shephard of making "an insinuation" of wrongdoing by government by asking about excess deaths. "The member is alluding to something being wrong," said Shephard during Question Period on June 1.
Don’t want to be called “the member”? Don’t ask inconvenient questions.
Can’t wait for the data from the 1st half of 2022, though…
Hallway medicine and lack of medical care. New Brunswick has a demographics and medical system problem. If you check the new Brunswick reddits the number one topic is how to get into the hospital. They made a young girl wait 16 hours with a broken arm. Nova Scotia is behind on something like 28k surgeries. Need an MRI and live in Moncton? 16 week lead time and a 3 hour round trip to Saint John. Need a cancer treatment? Good luck with that.
It's a sign of a collapsed free medical system. It's not "covid". It's finding an excuse for a system that doesn't work anymore.
I'm a former Maritimer. I would rather be bankrupt and alive in the US than stuck in the "free" canadian system and hoping a bypass surgery doesn't get delayed or postponed over and over until I die.
There has been a mysterious cluster of prion disease in New Brunswick, closely analogous to Creuzfeld-Jacob disease. No one seems to be able to identify the reasons for this alarming outbreak. Perhaps it has something to do with the prion-like properties of spike protein....
