What a worldwide travesty. I have to assume many will never be able to grok it, and that most of those folks will die early deaths. I am trying not to let their blind denial make ME crazy, or at least any crazier. I feel like a little kid pulling at my moms skirt, saying hey the kitchen is on fire and her just looking down at me and saying, no it isn't honey, stop bugging me, go play.

We saw the same sort of "statistics" in King County (Seattle, Washington) for seniors. (105% vax rate)

Yet somehow seniors are still the bulk of hospitalizations/deaths. Weird, right?

And this is the email my mom got from the Ontario Ministry of Health today. Comically they even admit the boosters don’t work. You can’t make this stuff up. Suffice to say she won’t be taking it. No COVID amnesty…

COVID-19 Booster Dose

I am writing to you as your Chief Medical Officer of Health to recommend that you get your COVID-19 spring booster dose as soon as possible, if it has been more than six months since your last vaccine dose. Individuals aged 65 years and older are at a higher risk of severe COVID-19 illness.

Booster doses help to restore protection that may have decreased since your last dose. Vaccination may not always prevent symptomatic infection, but it can help reduce the severity if a person does become infected. It can also help decrease the risk of developing a post COVID-19 condition (also known as long COVID). Please note, it is recommended to wait at least six months before booking your next booster dose appointment if you have had a confirmed COVID-19 infection or developed symptoms after close contact with someone who tested positive.

You can book your booster dose through:

The Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900, available in more than 300 languages (TTY for people who are deaf, hearing-impaired or speech-impaired: 1-866-797-0007)

The COVID-19 vaccination portal at https://www.ontario.ca/book-vaccine/

Public health units using their own booking system https://www.phdapps.health.gov.on.ca/phulocator/

Participating primary care providers

Participating pharmacies at https://covid-19.ontario.ca/vaccine-locations

Indigenous-led vaccination clinics

COVID-19 Testing and Treatment

If you are eligible for PCR or rapid molecular testing, you should seek testing as soon as possible if you develop symptoms. Visit https://www.ontario.ca/page/covid-19-testing-and-treatment to determine eligibility. Free rapid antigen tests are still available to the general public through participating retailers.

Antiviral treatments for COVID-19 such as Paxlovid, are available at no cost, by prescription to Ontarians. The antiviral treatment (Paxlovid) must be started within five days of your symptoms starting. A health care provider such as a physician, nurse practitioner or participating pharmacist can determine if treatment is right for you.

For more information, talk to your primary care provider or pharmacist call 811, or visit www.ontario.ca/antivirals

This spring we can work together to keep you protected from severe illness from COVID-19 and its variants.

Thank you,

Dr. Kieran Moore, Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health

Please note that this email address would have been collected from (or confirmed with) you at the clinic where you received earlier doses. At that time, you should have been informed about the purposes for collecting your email address.

If you want to stop receiving email communication, including COVID-19 vaccination appointment reminders, please contact the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900 to change your email preferences.

I spent two minutes searching but could not find the age distribution of the deaths, e.g. how many 70+ and 80+. That would be helpful in case there is any indication that the distribution has changed. It could go both ways, e.g. young people are dying because of spike protein induced vascular issues, or there are other factors like increased drug abuse or suicides.

"Misinformation expert".

Takes one to know one.

Wonder if this misinformation expert would like to tackle my definition the "misinformation", i.e. 'missing all the information' and research why certain groups wanted to hide information for 75 years, why governments such as the US and UK colluded to hide adverse vaccine reactions. If not, then he's just a paid shill.
